Senior Lead Consultant -Supplier Diversity

Job Description

Our company is looking for a Supplier Diversity Data Analyst to join our team. 

This position will support Allstate’s supplier diversity (SD) program through the preparation and analysis of reports and KPI’s. This role will be responsible for developing SD specific reports and processes to track SD information. Monthly reporting to business units and supporting ad hoc SD requests from the supplier diversity team. This role will also support other Procurement reporting needs information systems.  In this role you will be part of a centralized procurement data analytics and reporting team that provides support to the entire global procurement ogranization. 

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for gathering and accessing diverse supplier data globally to feed into internal and external reporting and forecasting work, as well as Supplier Diversity Power BI dashboard, and regulatory compliance 
• Develop a deep understanding of current and future needs of the procurement organization with regards to Supplier diversity 
• Proficiently capture and summarize stakeholder needs and goals in clear and concise themes and user stories 
• Maintain the user stories in a prioritized backlog and effectively divide overall project goals into prioritized deliverables for sequential and focused progress 
• Develop Supplier Diversity scorecard metrics to support the business needs, measuring success and ensuring tools and data are available to track and report on program goals 
• Work collaboratively with a delivery team of Data Engineers, BI developers and Data Scientists to design and deliver products that provide the insights our stakeholders required to make strategic and tactical business decisions 
• Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of products on supplier diversity across the procurement organization 
• Reviews and provides recommendations regarding proper controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of the reports 
• Conducts data cleansing activities independently as needed 
• Validate and consolidate complex data from multiple sources, both internal and external, while transforming them into simple, relevant, and actionable insights 
• Support Procurement Analytics team with other data reporting needs and projects 

Primary Skills

Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to filter through ambiguity to produce high-quality analyses 

Experience

Preferred Requirements: 

• Experience in identifying diverse suppliers including but not limited to minority, women, veteran, people with disabilities and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) business use communities 

• A keen eye for a good user experience and ability to create mockups 

• Hands on experience in building and maintaining dashboards on Power BI 

• Experience working with large datasets with strong technical skills (SQL, Python, R, etc.)
