Job Description

 

As a Product Technology Application Code Security Analyst, you will be part of a global team and tasked with improving the security posture of Product Technology applications. The role will involve identifying vulnerabilities in our applications and educating/training leadership, developer tech leads and others on application code security exploits and best practices.

 

This exciting opportunity will suit a self-managed individual as there will be potential to influence the entire PT organization and drive improvement into multiple systems. This role involves interaction with members of various teams in India, Northern Ireland and the USA and will have direct exposer to Senior Leadership in Product Technology.

 

 

Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):

 

  • Help define accountabilities/responsibilities for new Application Code Security Analyst role within Product Technology
  • Help develop and drive strategies for improving the security profile of Product Technology applications
  • Interact directly with developers to identify application code security vulnerabilities
  • Assess effectiveness of security vulnerability remediation activities
  • Educate developers and leadership on various code security topics
  • Stay current with latest exploits
  • Present to leadership on a variety of topics/issues related to code security
  • Partner with other teams – including but not limited to Development, Testing, Production Support, Architecture – to drive process or other improvements

 

 

Hours of work

  • Standard hours Mon – Fri
  • On-call support, as needed

 

 

Essential Criteria

 

  • Must be an EU citizen or possess a current UK Tier 1 Visa or Tier 2 visa and eligible to take up full time, permanent employment. EU candidates must also demonstrate they are eligible to take up UK employment post-Brexit.
  • 4+ years of experience in application development; and
  • Experience producing reports/presentations; and
  • Be able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment

 

 

Desirable Criteria

 

  • 3+ years of experience in a field directly related to application security; and
  • Experience with tools such as Fiddler and Burp Suite; and
  • Previous Product Technology experience – understanding of the Product Operations/Technology Business model.
