Your role in the team

As an Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will join the existing team based in ANI and work in conjunction with the Infrastructure team in Encino, California.   We are looking for enthusiastic, driven people who thrive in fast-paced, Agile environments with the ability to work on their own initiative to deliver Answer Financial infrastructure solutions, meet quarterly objectives while also having the scope to design and develop innovative automation solutions.  Exceling in this role requires the ability to provide technical solutions while communicating and collaborating with other teams in the Answer Financial organization such as Security, Product Delivery and Network Solutions. Key technical skills include IIS, MS Windows Server, Active Directory and Virtualization.

 

 

Responsibilities include (but aren't limited to):

 

  • Administration of production, pre-prod & dev/test Windows server environments.
  • Participate in Server Team responsibilities Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, SFTP, DFS, monitoring and alerting.
  • Participate in administration of our current virtualization infrastructure, including VMware vSphere & Citrix ZenDesktop.
  • Participate in security and compliance projects and audits. Ensure audit controls are current and accurate.
  • Assist with administration of existing backup solutions including scripting & Rubrik.
  • Participate in company security activities, polices, audits, procedures; including SOX and internal audit activities.
  • Participate in our change management process for both implementation and enforcement.

 

 

So, what are the essential criteria to apply?

 

  • All candidates must evidence an existing right to work in the UK
  • Minimum of 3 years’ commercial experience in a technical role
  • Experience of the following:
    • IIS (Internet Information Services)
    • MS Windows Server 2016/2019
    • Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy), DNS, DHCP
    • Virtualization (VMware, vCenter)
    • PowerShell Scripting / Automation
    • Experience with TCP/IP & Network Topology

  • Experience of the following:
    • Monitoring and Alerting Experience (SolarWinds, MS SCOM)
    • Jira Administration & day-to-day usage
    • SOC/SOC2/SSAE## best practices / experience
    • Stealthbits
    • SCCM/WSUS
    • VDI Administration (Citrix XenDesktop, VMware Horizon)
    • Backup Solutions (Rubrik, Scality, Veeam)
    • MS SQL server experience
    • vSphere SRM
    • Security Vulnerability Remediation Experience
