Job Description

ARS looking for Oracle resource for the Allstate Motor Club team. This individual will perform database activities including coordinating and executing production DB DML for weekly deployments. This resource will also perform lower level DB refresh activities on a quarterly basis. They will perform several manual recurring DB updates to maintain key data in the database. This individual will also monitor the daily running jobs.

Job Responsibilities

• Oracle developer/analyst for Allstate Motor Club team
• Create & Maintain Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures, triggers and functions.
• Responsible for reporting monthly key customer interaction count for dispatch system
• Responsible for creating DML DB scripts for regularly scheduled releases
• Responsible for executing DML DB scripts for regularly scheduled releases
• Expertise in DB structure and ability to troubleshoot DML DB execution when there are failures
• Work with other teams in coordinating changes across system
• Responsible for daily job monitoring of critical processess.
• Troubleshooting on daily jobs related to Unix - Shell Scripting.

Experience

• 4+ years 
• 3 or 4+ years’ experience developing / supporting enterprise Oracle structures and procedures
• Ability to effectively engage subject matter experts and understand technical topics
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business experts
• Ability to analyze and solve problems creatively
• Ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
• Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including offshore teams
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
• Ability to work weekend hours as needed on quarterly basis for database refresh

Shift Timing

7 am to 3.30 pm IST
