Job Description

The Arity Communications Team

Our Communications team is comprised of passionate storytellers focused on helping build our company image, engage with internal and external audiences to maintain a positive reputation in the industry, and bridge the gap between employees and our leaders. From social media posts and developing conference presentations to producing internal meetings and managing media interviews and more, our team is responsible for delivering communications that help our target audiences understand Arity’s mission, the products, and services we provide, and garner confidence and excitement for teaming up with Arity to make transportation better for everyone.

 

The Role: The Communications Consultant Intern will support the communications team in a variety of areas, including PR, social media, events, employee communications and general marketing communications work. They should be ready to jump in to provide support to other Marketing team members on various campaign work as needed for the goal to enable positive engagement between Arity and any of our target audiences.

 

Specific tasks will include but not be limited to: 

  • Monitor Arity social media accounts and develop draft copy for Arity social media posts, monitor competitor and industry social media activity
  • Support writing and editing of communication materials (e.g., pitches, news releases, blogs, briefing sheets, etc.)
  • Participate in projects and initiatives primarily related to internal/employee communications, specifically Summer Team Events, Arity Way/Culture launch, Tuesday Standups, Arity Hub management
  • Help manage deliverables related to company and employees’ participations at sponsored events and conferences
  • Various tasks to support PR agency work
  • Understand and interpret brand, user, and business needs to develop innovative, creative, and engaging content developed with target audiences in mind. 
  • Help marketing team assess and prioritize opportunities and constraints
  • Articulate your ideas clearly and effectively
  • Partner with the marketing team when appropriate for various campaign efforts and brand work 
  • This job does not have supervisory duties 

Job Qualifications

  • Target Start Date: May/June 2023
  • Ability to work collaboratively and think flexibly, partnering with product, engineering, data science, culture, and each other
  • Passionate for creative storytelling and skilled writer
  • Ability to handle and enjoy projects from huge initiatives to simple requests
  • Ability to effectively engage and effectively communicate ideas and contributions

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
