The Operational Excellence Team


As a member of the Operational Excellence (Op-X) team, you’ll help make sure the entire Arity team is enabled and empowered to get things done! It’s our job to ensure Arity is an industry leader both in terms of the products we offer, and by the way in which we deliver and deploy them to our customers. We are one-part business - for example, contracting with customers and suppliers, and one-part risk managers - tackling tough issues like data security and privacy. Job Description

Job Summary:

The Op-X interns will join the Arity Op-X Development program and work on strategic projects for Arity’s Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance & Privacy, and Strategic Technology teams.  The role collaborates with partners in Op-X and other Arity business functions to deliver results and drive consistent improvement of processes, compliance projects, and risk management efforts.  

What You’ll Learn:

  • How privacy and regulatory compliance programs are implemented in the technology industry
  • Risk management concepts and how they are applied across a broad portfolio of business risks (cybersecurity, operational, regulatory, culture, etc.) 
  • Project and program management
  • Corporate communication strategies like presentations, meeting facilitation and written communication

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to and/or leads strategic Op-X projects.  Examples of potential projects include:
  • Improving business development and partner strategy
  • Risk assessment and mitigation projects
  • Privacy and regulatory compliance program advancement efforts
  • Implementation of collaborative technology solutions
  • Supporting agile scrum product teams
  • Assisting in the management and maturation of the Op-X training and awareness program
  • Identifies opportunity areas and challenges, and offers solutions and ideas for continuous improvement      
  • Report on progress and issues to drive transparency and visibility into areas of opportunity  

Job Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience 

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree 
  • Rising junior or senior preferred (graduating 2024 or 2025)
  • Functional Skills
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid work ethic, including ability to follow-up, focus on details, and take initiative
  • Intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous improvement, both personally and with work assignments 
  • Positive and mature attitude when faced with adversity 
  • Able to handle sensitive topics and confidential information with care
  • Communication & Collaboration - Works effectively across boundaries to promote two-way communication and has intermediate communication skills - written & verbal 
  • Effective time management and organization skills with a proven ability to multi-task 

Compensation offered for this role is  and is based on experience and qualifications.
