The Role

As a member of the Arity Customer Website team, you will be responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, deployment, performance tuning and on-going support of one of Arity’s premier applications.  You will be an innovative thinker, an expert communicator, and an agile problem solver looking to join an exciting team. You will utilize cutting edge technologies to deliver software solutions within Arity’s cloud environment. Success candidates can learn and adapt quickly and use every tool at your disposal—software, algorithms, and beyond—to understand and effectively tackle hard problems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive projects that span our stack, including go and Java services hosted in cloud and a UI written in react JS
  • Participate in product scoping, discovery and providing technical inputs to translate user features into system design.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Be a strong contributor to the product vision and drive team planning.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.
  • Build for scale and high performance.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for data security, support, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Architects, Project Managers, Designers and other Engineers to develop full stack solutions for enterprise products,
  • Work in Agile/Scrum environment, design, estimate, test, and develop user stories

Technical Experience and Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java or Go , Postgres SQL
  • Committed to Test Driven Development (TDD) and experience in any of the JS test frameworks.
  • Understanding of Solid Principles.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Experience in designing applications with Auth0 for Authentication
  • Experience with Alerting and Monitoring with DataDog
  • Understanding of Linux, Cloud Computing, Restful API’s and APi gateways
  • Understanding of data transformation specifications and data formats like JSON, Avro, XML, CSV, UTF-8, Base-64 encoded and standard HTTP response/ error codes

Qualifications

  • A college degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or similar field, including a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience working with enterprise-wide web applications.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to offer why one technical solution is preferable than another
  • Ability to work in a team environment in a collaborative manner and remote teams

Salary Range for this role is between $119,700 - $202,800
