Job Summary

The Crisis Management (CM) Senior Consultant is responsible for working across the company to perform tasks to support the crisis management program.  
 

Key Responsibilities

●    Establish and foster strategic partnerships with cross-organizational business areas including Risk Management, Customer Service, Information Security, Physical Security, Emergency Response Team(s) and Operations to improve coordination in planning, response and recovery capabilities. 
●    Identify and understand risks facing operations. Escalate issues in achieving Trust and Safety Standards and agree on solutions to remove barriers to achieve Avail’s overall TS and Risk strategy and roadmap. 
●    Collaborate with CS and Product teams to perform process and product gap assessments as it relates to customer safety and platform risk.
●    Develop and present metrics to leadership, then drive action on improvement priorities.  
●    Assist with scheduling meetings for Crisis Management (CM), draft meeting notes. 
●    Support as needed during crisis events (e.g. participate in response and recovery activities, documenting activities).
●    Collaborates on QA with the field and within customer service, basic CRM tool administrator.
●    Identifies root causes of key risks to resiliency and removes barriers or escalates issues.
●    Interpret industry best practices and changes to associated regulations. 
●    Assist in training ORGs on trust and safety and risk programs.  

A Company Phone and Company Laptop will be provided for this role.  
Supervisory Responsibilities:
 This job does not have supervisory duties

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience 
●    Project Management and or Investigations experience preferred 
●    First Responder, Loss prevention, Law Enforcement, Public Safety or Emergency Services experience welcomed
●    3 or more years professional related experience or Bachelor’s degree or combination

Functional Skills
●    Strong organizational and administrative skills 
●    Occasional On call Coverage
●    Experience with sensitive case details, confidential or disturbing topics.
●    Experience using CRM, knowledge base, and emergency notification system
●    Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
●    Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization
