Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a risk practitioner to join our team. This position will play a key role in developing and supporting the implementation of the operational risk and return framework across the enterprise.  


Success in this role requires initiative coupled with an ability to execute quickly and to the highest standards.  Individuals who are motivated by interaction with senior management and application of strong risk management process, principles, and analytics will be ideally suited to the role.  A good eye for detail coupled with responsive and positive attitude is essential.


The Senior Consultant works with other risk management professionals and leaders to ensure operational risk and return is appropriately delivered and imbedded throughout the organization.

Job Description

Key task include

  • Develops analytic and visual presentations to communicate changes in the ORRM strategy and framework  
  • Develops and maintains key risk indicator reporting and presentation materials for risk committees 
  • Reviews, researches, interprets, and analyzes operational risk data to identify trends, emerging risks, and issues
  • Provides consultative risk management support to the business as needed
  • Organizes/leverages business data to analyze enterprise risk data and identifies trends
  • Communicates/interacts with leadership, including enterprise risk leaders and business unit leaders

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • 2+ years of related experience in Risk Management, Compliance, or Audit in a medium to large sized enterprise is preferred
  • Understanding of operational risk and governance
  • Exposure to one or more key operational risk areas (model, business continuity, vendor, privacy, technology, cyber, fraud) is preferred
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communications skills to build rapport and trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Planning and organizing skills to manage short, medium and long-term activities and deliverables
  • Experience working pro-actively and autonomously
  • An advanced level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel MS office products is preferred
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

The compensation range for this position is $59,500 to 81,400 per year based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
